We are proud to present the 9th Annual Park City Mossman Triathlon.
The 2013 Park City Mossman Triathlon is a USAT Sanctioned Event as well as the Connecticut qualifier for the Best of the U.S. Amateur Triathlete Championship.

2013 Will also feature an Aqua-Bike division.

Race Course Description

0.9 mile(1.5k) swim is in the Long Island Sound, starting and finishing in the West Beach section of Seaside Park. The estimated water temperature is 74º-75ºF. Wetsuits permitted.

25 mile (40k) Olympic distance bike route is 5 loops of 5 miles (8k) each - flat and very fast in the park area.

6.2 mile (10k) run course is 2 loops of 3.1 miles each, all along the sea for the entire course, flat and very scenic. The run course aid stations are stocked with water, Gatorade Endurance and GU.

Refund Policy

Withdrawal requests must be received in writing via email without exception. All requests must be received 30 before race day to be eligible for a partial refund of 50%. Transfers or deferrals are NOT permitted.

Race #3 of The Mossman Triathlon Series Championship:

Series Championship participants have to compete in all three events.
Series Championship participants are not eligible for age group awards, but are eligible for overall awards
Series Championship scored by lowest combined time for all 3 events- NO Handicaps.
Series Championship prizes will be awarded at Park City.
1st Place: Free Entry to All TME events for 2014 + Cash TBD
2nd Place: 50% off Entry to Any Tri Events in 2014+ Cash TBD
3rd Place: 25% off Entry to Any Events in 2014+ Cash TBD
4th-10th Place Cash TBD

Packet Pick-up

Day before Packet Pick-up - Saturday, August 24th, 4:00pm and 6:00pm at Seaside Park West Beach
Day of race Packet Pick-up also available
Photo ID Required, USAT Membership card required. Otherwise pay the One Day USA Triathlon license fee.

Rules

USA Triathlon Competitive Rule 3.2a Athletes compete in the age group corresponding to their age on December 31 of the event year.
STRICTLY NO electronic listening devices allowed!

Host Hotel

The Park City Mossman host hotel is the Trumbull Marriott in Trumbull, CT. The hotel is about 15 mins away from transition. Our room block gets rooms for $99/night. Here is the necessary information:
Reservations for the Event will be made by individual attendees directly with Marriott reservations at 1 (800) 228-9290 or (203) 378-1400.

Reservations by attendees must be received on or before Monday, August 19, 2013, (the "Cut-Off Date"). At the Cut-Off Date, Hotel will review the reservation pick up for the Event, release the unreserved rooms for general sale, and determine whether or not it can accept reservations based on a space- and rate-available basis at the Team Mossman Events group rate after this date.
