We are proud to present the 8th Annual Park City Mossman Triathlon.
The 2012 Park City Mossman Triathlon is a USAT Sanctioned Event as well as the Connecticut qualifier for the Best of the U.S. Amateur Triathlete Championship.

2012 Will also feature an Aqua-Bike division.

Race Course Description

0.9 mile(1.5k) swim is in the Long Island Sound, starting and finishing in the West Beach section of Seaside Park. The estimated water temperature is 74º-75ºF. Wetsuits permitted.

25 mile (40k) Olympic distance bike route is 5 loops of 5 miles (8k) each - flat and very fast in the park area.

6.2 mile (10k) run course is 2 loops of 3.1 miles each, all along the sea for the entire course, flat and very scenic. The run course aid stations are stocked with water, Gatorade Endurance and GU.

Refund Policy
Withdrawal requests must be received in writing via email without exception. All requests must be received 30 before race day to be eligible for a partial refund of 50%. Transfers or deferrals are NOT permitted.

Day before Packet Pick-up - Saturday, August 25th, 4:00pm and 6:00pm at Seaside Park West Beach
Photo ID Required, USAT Membership card required. Otherwise pay the One Day USA Triathlon license fee.

6:25am Pre-Race Briefing at swim start

Host Hotel
The Park City Mossman host hotel is the Trumbull Marriott in Trumbull, CT. The hotel is about 15 mins away from transition. Our room block gets rooms for $99/night. Here is the necessary information:
Reservations for the Event will be made by individual attendees directly with Marriott reservations at 1 (800) 228-9290 or (203) 378-1400.

Reservations by attendees must be received on or before Monday, August 24, 2012, (the "Cut-Off Date"). At the Cut-Off Date, Hotel will review the reservation pick up for the Event, release the unreserved rooms for general sale, and determine whether or not it can accept reservations based on a space- and rate-available basis at the Team Mossman Events group rate after this date.
